New Fishbowl Inventory 2012+ Brings Inventory Management Features to the Cloud

OREM, Utah, -- Fishbowl®, maker of the No. 1 requested inventory management software for QuickBooks®, will release a new software update, Fishbowl Inventory 2012+, on Aug. 9 that will make some of its inventory features accessible for the first time from the cloud. With the new software, Fishbowl users can check inventory availability from virtually anywhere by using the Web-based Fishbowl Pipeline(TM) application on the iPad, iPhone, and Android device.
"We are happy to respond to our customers' requests for new features," said Fishbowl CEO David Williams. "Today's announcement answers their request for the ability to access inventory from any location, and it is the beginning of even greater flexibility and cloud-based options to come."
Fishbowl is offering a free one-year Pipeline subscription to new customers who purchase Fishbowl Inventory in August.
In addition to its new cloud accessibility, Fishbowl Inventory 2012+ includes the following features:

-- Unlimited tracking types and custom fields
"Fishbowl Inventory 2012+ is the final upgrade of the 2012 series, so we wanted to complete this pivotal product on a strong note by fulfilling requests from our customers," Williams said.
In the near future, Fishbowl will add UPS Ready integration to increase the convenience of comparing shipping rates and sending products to customers.
Fishbowl will also bring more inventory management features to the cloud through Pipeline in the coming months. These include the ability to add products to Fishbowl Inventory, attach quantities, units of measure, prices and other data to those products, and calculate sales-order costs in real time when customers ask for a price quote.
