Gas Safety at a Glance with "Kiss" Cards from Crowcon
Portable gas detectors from Crowcon are now supplied with easy to understand, single-sided instruction cards ensuring that basic operations are remembered and carried out correctly. "KISS" cards - standing for Keep It Simple and Safe - can be used both by hygienists as part of routine training sessions, and by the personnel who carry the instruments in the field for an "at-a-glance" reminder of correct operating procedure.
KISS cards combine step-by-step instructions for basic operations with clear illustrations showing the instrument display at each stage. They come as standard with every new Crowcon portable gas detector, while copies of the cards may be requested by existing users of these products. KISS cards can be supplied ready-laminated for durability.
Crowcon portable instruments range from Eikon, a simple "always on" detector with a fixed life of two years, through single-channel Gasman II units for a variety of gas hazards, to Custodian and Triple Plus+ models for multi-hazard monitoring. The latest unit, Custodian C, combines the ability to monitor up four gases at once with simplified operation via a single pushbutton.
