RIDGID® Extends the Versatility of the rM200 Camera System with New D2B Drum
ELYRIA, OHIO – For service plumbers who need a versatile video inspection system, RIDGID® introduces the D2B Drum, the latest addition to the SeeSnake® D2 Drum Series for the rM200 Camera System.
The rM200 Camera System is a compact, portable inspection camera system with interchangeable camera drums for jobsite compatibility. The rM200 comes with a choice of the D2A or the new D2B drum; either drum can be purchased separately. The drums feature different push cable lengths, diameters, stiffness and springs, creating an inspection system platform that can be set up to meet the specific job requirements.
The D2A Drum has a 200-foot long, 0.3-inch diameter push cable with a single-nested spring, which provides outstanding versatility and maneuverability through traps. The D2A Drum has the same Stiffness Index as the Mini SeeSnake cable.
The D2B Drum has a 165-foot long, 0.35-inch diameter push cable with the same Stiffness Index as the Standard SeeSnake cable. The D2B dual-nested spring provides a more gradual stiffness transition, making it easier to negotiate turns and tees.
Both D2 drums feature a one-inch diameter, self-leveling camera head, which provides a clear view that is always upright.
The camera head also has a built-in sonde that easily pinpoints the camera’s position and depth with the use of a RIDGID locating receiver.
