Husky Announces Upgrade to Best - Selling Hylectric® Machine Platform

Hylectric 4.0 features improved connectivity, control and energy management

BOLTON, Ontario – Husky Injection Molding Systems, a leading industrial technology provider to the plastics processing community, has announced the introduction of an upgrade to its best-selling machine platform, Hylectric® 4.0. Hylectric® 4.0 features enhancements that provide increased connectivity, greater control and energy management, and an improved operator experience. Husky will be exhibiting at K 2016 (Booth A61 in Hall 13) in Dusseldorf, Germany from October 19-26, showcasing Hylectric® 4.0 as well as a range of other technologies.

Husky’s best-selling Hylectric® platform became an industry mainstay after its launch in 2001. Since then, the company has successfully built, shipped and delivered more than 3,500 Hylectric® machines to plastics processors worldwide. Known for its superior hydromechanical clamp design, Reflex platens and wide tiebar spacing, the Hylectric® platform excels as evenly distributing clamping forces, extending tooling life significantly.
