ATS Introduces a New Industrial Monitor to the Market

PEORIA, Ill. – Advanced Technology Services, Inc. (ATS) announced today their entry into the industrial monitor space with the release of the 7685IM-15. Designed to withstand the rigor of the factory maintenance environment, the 7685IM-15 is designed on the same platform as ATS' successful and durable PanelMate product.

The 7685IM-15 is designed with standard video and touch screen interfaces for simple integration into many applications where industrial PCs are used. This unit is a perfect pairing for the 7600 blind node and other industrial PCs.  Each unit includes touch screen drivers already installed; making integration and installation quick and simple.  A 6 ft. serial and VGA cable are included. While the initial release to the market will be a standard 15" screen, ATS will be accepting custom orders for various screen sizes.

According to ATS General Manager, Mike Waltrip, "We were able to quickly respond to customer demand for an industrial monitor that would not fail or experience screen cracking issues due to harsh factory environments.  ATS performed several prototype tests in harsh environments which provided us with the data and confidence to know our product would give our customers the durability needed to ensure optimal asset performance."

"Our units are not only running without failures, but maintenance technicians are not having to make return trips to recalibrate the screen." said Product Manager, Jim Egan.
