New rh-plus Analyzer Measures & Controls Relative Humidity in Gases

Woburn, MA - General Eastern Instruments introduces the rh-plus MR 2350 relative humidity (rh) analyzer for measurement and control of moisture levels in gases. An optional input permits external sensors for pressure compensation, temperature or other parameters. Its two-line LCD display and membrane-type pushbuttons control unit selection, ranges, setpoints and special functions.

The Model MR 2350 is available in both wall and panel mount configurations. When used with the MDR3 Humidity Probe, the unit is capable of rh readings in the range of 0-100% over a temperature range of -15ºC to +85ºC. Current output is 0-20mA or 4-20mA and the unit includes a system alarm relay, three adjustable relays with SPDT 2.5A contacts, selectable failsafe mode and adjustable hysteresis.

The analyzer is approved as intrinsically safe for use in hazardous areas by Cenelec and FM when used with approved Zener barriers. Applications include clean rooms, food/pharmaceutical processing and storage, ETO sterilizers, medical air and refrigerant dryers, heat treating, leak testing and a host of other applications.
