The new 48X/32X/48X Max CD-RW Drive delivers high-capacity read and write functionality to your desktop PC. Performance features include:
o Buffer underrun protection helps prevent write errors, saving time and money
o EasyWrite technology offers a way to store, move, and share large amounts of data with the same ease and convenience of a diskette
This new drive:
o Writes CD-R media at speeds up to 48X
o Writes and rewrites CD-RW media at speeds up to 32X, for up to 1,000 times
o Reads CD media at speeds up to 48X
IBM RecordNow and DLA mastering and writing software3 are included to enable simple CD copying and file backup, plus data and audio CD creation functions. Users everywhere can now easily share what they write to CD-R and CD-RW media with most currently installed CD-ROM drives.
This new offering benefits from outstanding quality, reliability, compatibility, and testing programs. As one of the premier PC manufacturers, IBM installs and tests hundreds of thousands of CD-RW drives per year. This option takes on the warranty of the IBM PC system in which it is installed. For many IBM PCs, this can entitle this product to on-site service for up to three years.
