MTE Corporation Launches New Single Phase Harmonic Filter
MTE launches the Matrix® ONE, their latest harmonic filtering solution
MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis., -- MTE Corporation, a world leader in the design and manufacturing of power quality solutions for commercial and industrial applications, announces the launch of Matrix® ONE specifically for single phase power applications. The Matrix® ONE is an addition to the Matrix® line of harmonic filters that leads the industry in harmonic mitigation.
Electrical equipment such as Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and Silicon-Controlled Rectifier (SCR) loads can introduce harmful harmonics into neighboring equipment and onto the electrical grid system, resulting in poor power quality, and reduced energy efficiencies. If not managed, this can lead to the damage of equipment and penalties from utility companies.
The Matrix® ONE family is offered in 240V and 480V for applications spanning between 3HP and 150HP. The filter is proven to reduce THID to acceptable levels, allowing improved power quality in single phase applications especially in rural, remote areas where power quality is often not optimal.
