Hand-Flex Coaxial Cables feature right-angle SMA connections.

Press Release Summary:

Used for integrating coaxial components and sub-assemblies in tight spaces, 086 series includes 50 Ω, hand-formable, coaxial cables with single and double right-angle SMA connections. Characteristics include frequency range of DC to 18 GHz, return loss of 33 dB to 6 GHz and 21 dB to 18 GHz, and power handling capability of 200 W at 0.5 GHz and 35 W at 18 GHz. Along with bend-radius as small as 6 mm, cables feature FEP insulator jacket that reduces risk of accidental shorting.

Two New Right-Angle, Hand-Flex Coaxial Cables

Mini-Circuits is introducing the 086 series of 50Ω, hand-formable coaxial cables with single right-angle SMA connection (086 SM RSM) and double right-angle SMA connections (086 SMR).

086 series coaxial cables are ideal for integrating coaxial components and sub-assemblies in tight spaces and dense configurations.  Single and Double right-angle SMA connections minimize bend-radius at connection ports, while Hand-Flex cable with bend-radius as small as 6mm avoids the need for cable-bending tools and prevents damage due to bending processes typical of semi-rigid cable assemblies.  Great space economy as well as wide frequency range from DC-18 GHz and excellent return loss of 33 dB to 6 GHz and 21 dB to 18 GHz make 086 series coaxial cables ideal for interconnecting a wide variety of RF components with minimal VSWR ripple contribution.  With power handling capability of 200W at 0.5 GHz and 35W at 18 GHz, these cables can support medium to high RF power levels.  An FEP insulator jacket reduces risk of accidental shorting, and unjacketed options are available as well – all at great prices.
