Hammer Union Pressure Sensor for Oil & Gas Industry

The new 1502 Hammer Union pressure sensor from tecsis LP is designed for a wide variety of drilling and well servicing applications and is able to stand up to the rigors of cementing, choke and kill operations, BOPs, and hydraulic fracturing in shale oil and shale gas formations.

This Hammer Union pressure transducer is built to survive with all-welded stainless steel construction and Inconel X-750 wetted parts to stand up to sour gas environments. The 1502 is designed for reliable service with enhanced shock and vibration resistance, a wide operating temperature, and a NEMA 4 rating. The large diameter housing allows easy access and protects the connector.

The 1502 Hammer Union delivers static accuracy of 0.25% FS (BFSL) over standard ranges of 0- 5,000, 0-10,000, 0-15,000 and 0-20,000 psi. The unit requires 10 to 28Vdc excitation and provides an intrinsically safe 4-20mA 2-wire output. The standard connection is a PTIH-10-6P or equivalent with a protective cap, other electrical connectors are available by request. Operating temperature is -40° to +200°F, with a compensated range of -20° to +185°. Available in English or Metric units of calibration. Now with CSA certification.
