Scotchman® Industries is pleased to announce the addition of the new GRIT Innovative Grinding Concepts to their Metal Fabricating Solutions. This complete line of belt grinding and tube and pipe fabrication equipment features a deburring machine and centerless grinder for external cleanup and finishing of tubes up to an 8" diameter. Scotchman-Grit Grinders and Notchers feature 5HP drive motors. These machines have rubber drive and backup wheels, for no slip aggressive grinding and efficient cooling of the belt. They are available in 3" and 6" belt widths, with large platens. All are available with dual dust collectors. The tube and pipe notchers can notch up to 6" material. The versatile clamping system allows infinite adjustment of angles between 30° to 90°. By simply changing the contact roller to match the size of tube or pipe being joined, the Scotchman-Grit Tube & Pipe Notcher grinds a perfect notch in almost any shape of material, fast and efficiently.
