Graph Voltage on the Go with T&D!

New Graphing Voltage Data Loggers Record up to 16 Channels

CHESTERLAND OH — CAS DataLoggers and T&D offer the new MCR-4V Graphing Voltage Data Logger for cost-effective voltage recording. Up to 4 units can be coupled together enabling users to simultaneously measure and record up to 16 channels. Users can download data via the USB connection or through an optional SD Flash Memory card. View real-time readings on the logger’s LCD display while the large internal memory enables extended recording. The new voltage datalogger is an ideal way to measure and record voltage data for control devices and measurement instruments in electrical circuits, and to record output signals from a variety of sensors and analyzers such as actinometers, anemoscopes and CO2 meters.

Graphing on the Go

T&D voltage recorders capture accurate measurements with a recording interval as short as 2 msec and a minimum voltage resolution of 10 μV. Users can choose between two methods to record data: either instantaneous value or average value. Channel isolation enables users to measure signals of different potentials. The device also has a synchronization signal to trigger an external power source for connected sensors so users can save battery power.

Users can view data in real time on the logger’s LCD display, and the logger’s touch panel allows for changing settings and other operations. With the trend graphing feature users can check data in real time while in the field. When recording on a single channel, up to 480,000 data readings can be recorded. Since the MCR-4V is battery operated on 2 AA Alkaline batteries, users can measure and record even when electricity is unavailable. USB power can be used with the logger, which also has a convenient preheat function.

Besides the USB connection, users can opt for an SD memory card to quickly transfer data from the logger to a PC. Not only can users view voltage measurements as they are, but also change the scale and unit of measurement for each channel for recording and viewing.

Free Graphing Software and Storage Service

T&D Graph software allows users to read large numbers of recorded data files into the same graph, merge data, and view/save data in several different ways. By using T&D Graph, users can apply new features such as inserting shapes and posting comments and/or memos on the displayed graph. You can also use the FREE T&D WebStorage Service to directly store and download recorded data, which is a great way to stay connected to your data from anywhere an Internet connection is available.

Record up to 16 Channels Simultaneously

By coupling 4 MCR-4V units together, it is possible to simultaneously record up to 16 channels. When multiple units are connected, the MCR-4V at the far left side will be automatically designated as the Master and all other connected MCR-4V units will be designated as Slaves. Group operations such as starting and stopping recording for the connected units can only be performed via the Master. Upon the start of a group recording, the main recording settings will be temporarily copied to all connected Slaves.

Simultaneously Measure Temperature and Voltage

T&D’s flexible design also lets the voltage datalogger couple with the 4-channel MCR-4TC Graphing Thermocouple Datalogger. By coupling up to 4 thermocouple and voltage data loggers together, users can simultaneously measure and record temperature and/or voltage, up to 16 channels. T&D’s Multichannel Temperature Recorder supports Type J,K,R,S & T thermocouples for a wide measurement range.
