Face-Hugging Material and Rugged Design Withstand the Harshest Environments
SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Sept. 18, 2006 - Uvex®, the leader in safety eyewear, today announced the launch of its new Uvex Strategy(TM) Goggle. The over-the-glass (OTG) goggle fits over most prescription eyewear and provides a high quality, cost-effective option that protects even in the harshest environments. The Uvex Strategy Goggle meets both ANSI and CSA standards.
The Uvex Strategy Goggle's lightweight body is comprised of soft, flexible thermopoly elastomer (TPE) that conforms comfortably to the face, unlike other products which use rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Four models are available to suit a variety of working conditions including direct vent, closed vent, indirect vent and indirect vent with foam-lined vents for fine particle protection. Each model offers a snug seal and superior protection against impact, chemical splash, dust, sand and debris. In addition, the goggle features a polycarbonate lens for excellent peripheral vision and added security. Lenses are also available with UvextraTM anti-fog coating to minimize fogging in hot, humid environments.
