SERIES 7000 - General Purpose Box Furnaces



January 22, 2009, Warrington, PA. A line of general purpose box furnaces manufactured by Lucifer Furnaces, Inc. is now available for hardening, drawing, preheating, annealing, brazing, normalizing and special applications under air atmosphere. This series provides an economical means for companies to bring their heat treating in-house. With a reinforced welded sheet metal shell and multi-layered, energy efficient firebrick and mineral block insulation, these furnaces are designed for minimum heat loss. The ceramic hearth plate which protects the floor brick can supports workloads up to 50 lbs/sq. ft. hearth area. Easy to replace, long lasting heavy gauge, coil wound heating elements are mounted on sides, door and back for uniform heating.

Series 7000 units range in size from 6"x6"x6" to 24"x24"x48" and can operate from 1850°F to 2350°F. Floor stands are available for smaller models. The horizontal swing door includes an adjustable latch for a positive seal along with a safety switch shutting off power when the door opens. All 7000 models are completely wired to N.E.C., test fired, and shipped ready for connection to main power supply.
