Richardson RFPD Introduces New DC-4 GHz GaAs MMIC 10 W SPDT Switch from ADI
Suitable for use in transmit-receive applications requiring very low distortion at high input signal power levels
Richardson RFPD, Inc. announced today the availability and full design support capabilities for a new GaAs MMIC switch from Analog Devices, Inc.
The HMC784AMS8GE is a high-power SPDT switch in an 8-lead MSOPG package for use in transmit-receive applications that require very low distortion at high input signal power levels. The new switch can control signals from DC to 4 GHz and provides exceptional intermodulation performance of greater than +60 dBm third order intercept at +5V bias. On-chip circuitry allows single positive supply operation from +3 Vdc to +8 Vdc at very low DC current with control inputs compatible with CMOS logic families.
The 10 W SPDT switch is suitable for cellular/4G infrastructure, automotive telematics, mobile radio, and test equipment applications.
