Fixed Frequency Synthesizer: SFS13050H-LF Provides Low Noise Signal Source in the Ku Band

Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant Fixed Frequency Synthesizer model SFS13050H-LF. The SFS13050H-LF is a single frequency synthesizer that operates at 13.05 GHz with an external 100 MHz reference oscillator. Featuring a typical phase noise of -88 dBc/Hz @ 10 kHz offset makes it ideal choice for radar systems requiring superior performance.

The SFS13050H-LF is designed to deliver an output power of 0±3 dBm while operating over the industrial temperature range of -40 to 85°C. This low noise frequency source is powered by a VCO voltage supply of 5 Vdc while drawing 90 mA (typical) and a phase locked loop voltage of 3 Vdc while drawing 45 mA (typical). The SFS13050H-LF features a typical harmonic suppression of -30 dBc and spurious suppression of -70 dBc. It is housed in Z-Comm’s standard SFS-L1 package measuring 1.0 in. x 1.0 in. x 0.22 in. This Fixed Frequency Synthesizer is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and is available in tape and reel packaging.
