Lehigh Makes Work Comfortable With New Footwear Technology


VESTAL, N.Y. - Lehigh Safety Shoe Company has introduced a new, exclusive comfort technology to three traditional work boot styles, announced Rich Jones, president.

COMFORT MAX is an extension of Lehigh's existing POWER CUSHION
comfort insole system. The COMFORT MAX is actually an extra thick free-breathing insole that is used in conjunction with a molded polyurethane outsole for extra shock absorbency and comfort fit. It is being incorporated into three work boots (5640, 5642 and 5643) being introduced in 2002.

"These materials provide the foot flexibility and increased comfort. These are important traits for those who work on their feet all day," said Jones. "We are pleased to be able to offer our customers the ultimate in comfortable, protective footwear at an affordable price point."

The new boots with COMFORT MAX will be available for purchase in March 2002.
