New Family Of Heat Resistant Foam Tapes For High Performance Bonding And Mounting



Windsor, Connecticut - October 30, 2001... Scapa has introduced the Duofoam® VJ Series of double coated polyethylene foam tapes, engineered to provide superior performance in high temperature bonding and mounting applications where heat resistance is critical.

Double coated with a high performance, pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive system, Duofoam VJ Series products provide excellent holding power and good tack, and bond well to a wide variety of surfaces including metals and engineered plastics. The products offer excellent long-term aging, resistance to
environmental extremes, and high performance over a range of operating temperatures. The closed cell polyethylene foam used for Duofoam VJ Series tapes does not absorb water and provides good thermal insulation properties. Available in black and white versions, the products die cut easily and are highly conformable to irregular surfaces.
