Explosion Protective Fluid Level Sight Glasses from J.W. Winco
NEW BERLIN, WI -- J.W. Winco, Inc., a leading supplier of standard industrial machine components, now offers series GN 743.6 Metric Sized ATEX Explosive Protective Fluid Level Sight Glasses.
The RoHS-compliant sight glasses have a body of turned aluminum, bright finish, an ESG scratch-proof glass sight glass, a stainless steel retaining ring, and a seal of FPM rubber (Viton®).
These sight glasses are suitable for use in explosion risk environments, and comply with European 94/9/EG guidelines. They are sealed with an O-ring on the periphery and not on the face edge of the glass. Leak tightness is therefore not affected by axial pressures. The seal is housed in a groove and therefore cannot be lost. Meanwhile, this groove prevents the seal from being extruded when the sight glass is tightened. The location of this seal also allows the use of a softer Elastomer, guaranteeing better and easier sealing. Cold/heat resistance range is -20°C (-4°F) to 150°C (300°F).
