Electri-Flex's Rugged "Computer Blue" Electrical Flexible Conduit Is Ideal For Computer Room Installations

Electri-Flex Company announces the availability of its Type CBLA (Computer Blue LA) electrical flexible conduit, intended for computer power wiring. The liquidtight Type CBLA is ruggedly
designed specifically for computer room and similar applications, and features a flame-retardant jacket. The conduit is UL listed and CSA certified.

Type CBLA is available in trade sizes from 3/8" through 4", with inside bend radii from 2" to 12". The 3/8" through 1-1/4" sizes contain an integral bonding strip of copper, while the 1-1/2" and larger sizes are designed with a fully interlocked strip. Type CBLA is suited for temperature ranges from -20°C to 60°C. Its flexible inner core is made from a spiral wound strip of heavy gauge, hot-dipped galvanized steel. The jacketing material is a flexible PVC, and its blue color easily identifies circuitry
for computer power wiring.

Type CBLA helps comply with Article 351, part A of the NEC© (ANSI/NFPA-70) requirements. Meeting these requirements permits Type CBLA to be used in exposed or concealed locations, and in
installations under raised floors in Data Processing Areas in accordance with Article 645-5 (d)(2). It is listed and marked for direct burial and in poured concrete.
