Finger-Safe Push-In Terminal Blocks support wires up to 4/0 AWG.

Press Release Summary:

Rated per UL for 230 A at 1,000 V, PTPOWER 95 uses spring connection for 4 to 4/0 AWG wire sizes. Termination area opens when user inserts conductor. In this state, springs are loose and not kinetically charged to promote safety. Conductors can also be pushed in with termination area closed. There are 17 different versions, which include blocks prebuilt with 3–5 positions, black/yellow functional earth (FE), potential earth (PE), and both DIN rail and panel-mount versions.

High-current Terminals with Push-in Connection Technology

Easier connection technology now available for high-power applications with wires up to 4/0 AWG

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — Phoenix Contact introduces a new line of push-in technology terminal blocks for high-power applications. The PTPOWER 95 provides easier spring connection for wires up to 4/0 AWG than screw connectors traditionally used in these applications.

The PTPOWER 95 uses Phoenix Contact’s Power Turn technology, a short lever movement to open and close the termination area. When the user inserts the conductor, the termination area opens. The springs are now loose and not kinetically charged, achieving an extra level of safety. This feature makes the PTPOWER 95 the only finger-safe spring terminal block currently available for larger conductors.  Conductors can also be pushed in with the termination area closed, another unique feature.

All PTPOWER terminal blocks have side entry for easier conductor routing without the need to accommodate a bending radius. The PTPOWER 95 line includes numerous accessories for maximum flexibility from testing to power distribution

The 17 different versions include blocks prebuilt with three to five positions, black/yellow functional earth (FE), potential earth (PE) and both DIN rail and panel-mount versions. PTPOWER 95 is rated per UL for 230 A at 1000 V and accepts 4 to 4/0 AWG wire sizes.
