Series 500 ACCUGAF(TM) Filter Bags for Absolute Filtration Applications

The ACCUGAF(TM) Series 500 Filter Bags from Hay ward Filtration have a patented, all-welded, multi-pleated construction that significantly increases the surface area of the bag as compared to standard filter bags. This construction also results in high efficiencies and long service life. The filter bags have a pleated prefiltration layer and a complex design of final filtration layers. This permits the removal of difficult to filter gels and deformable particles with a high capacity of solids loading. An outer web covering eliminates any downstream fiber migration contamination.

Four different models of the ACCUGAF(TM) Series 500 provide filtration efficiencies ranging from 95% to 99%. This makes it possible to select the exact efficiency your application requires, with no compromises. And because they are cost effective, they make absolute filtration viable in many applications where only standard filter bags could be used before due to cost constraints.

Made from 100% pure polypropylene materials, LOFCLEAR(TM) filter bags contain no leachables or lubricants such as silicone oils that could contaminate sensitive process medias. These bags are especially effective in the removal of gelatinous materials. They also have excellent oil absorbency characteristics which make them ideally suited to the oil removal needs of many applications. Other common applications include oils, slurries, dilute oil removal, recirculating batch systems and systems with heavy contamination in a wide variety of industries.
