Atom D2550 Fanless Embedded PC Presents IP65 Rated Stainless Steel Front Bezel
Acnodes Corp., a leading manufacturer of industrial and embedded computer platforms and technologies, announced today the launch of a new panel PC, FPC7915N. The price competitive FPC7915N features an Atom D2550 1.86GHz fan less embedded system with 5-wire resistive type touch screen, rich I/O ports, 130W ATX power supply, and is all protected with IP65 rated stainless steel front bezel. The launch of FPC7915N is accompanied alongside FPC7917N and FPC7919N with the same specifications but of 17 inch and 19 inch, respectively.
FPC7915N is equipped with IP65 rated stainless steel front bezel, making it ideal for rugged and sensitive environments like kitchens, food processing plants, hospitals, and as well as industrial application where quality is a major issue. The stainless steel offers convenient and easy clean ups with the hygienic qualities and IP65 has complete protection from dust, oil, and other non-corrosive material. It also has protection from water projected by a nozzle against enclosure from any direction, providing protection from contact with enclosed equipment.
The fan less system of Atom D2550 1.86GHz CPU is specifically optimized for improved performance and energy efficiency. The chipset is of NM10, memory contains 204-pin DDR3 800/1066MHz SODIMM with maximum 4GB, and storage supports two 2.5” HDD bay or one 2.5” HDD with one slim SATA DVD. The rich I/O ports include four COM ports supporting +5V or +12V (COM2 for RS-232/422/485), six USB 2.0, two LAN, VGA, PS/2, parallel port (SPP/EPP/ECP), digital I/O of 4-in/4-out with 5V and 12V, and Audio. The mentioned I/O ports allow the convenience for users to connect to their own devices. The unit is Windows 7 compatible with options for Windows 7 Pro 32bit or 64bit.
The resistive type touch screen monitor with USB is complemented with resolution of 1024 x 748 and 400-nits brightness with 1~255 second watchdog timer. Its power supply is of ATX 130W and has optional VESA mount and two PCI slot. The dimension of 15.86”(W) x 3.38”(D) x 11.93”(H) and 15.65 lbs can handle the operating temperature ranging from 32°F to 104°F (0°C to 40°C) with relative humidity tolerating 20 to 90%.
