Fanless CO2 Incubators have contamination-resistant design.

Press Release Summary:

Along with high-temperature disinfection option, Galaxy® series has seamless, one-piece chamber that eliminates potential breeding grounds for contaminants. Sealed inner glass door on 170 L models allows viewing of samples while maintaining environmental stability and minimizing CO2/N2 consumption. NBS Launches New Galaxy Line of CO2 Incubators

New Brunswick Scientific (NBS) announces the introduction of Galaxy® - a new line of advanced CO2 incubators, which improves on our previous incubators with even more standard features, better performance and a wider range of options than before. Galaxy CO2 incubators feature a unique fanless design and seamless one-piece chamber to eliminate potential breeding grounds for contaminants, and high-temperature disinfection (HTD) option to further minimize contamination risk. An innovative sealed inner glass door on 170L models allows viewing access to samples while maintaining environmental stability and minimizing costly CO2 and N2 consumption. New perforated shelves provide rapid recover after door opening. An advanced oxygen control system option in three control ranges enables specialized hypoxic or hyperoxic conditions to be maintained, ideal for stem cells, oncology or IVF work. In addition to the full-sized170 liter systems, unique personalized-size 48L incubators and a micro-sized 14L unit are offered, ideally suited to isolating stem cells, fertilized eggs, and other critical cultures. Galaxy incubators come in two model ranges - an R Series with advanced controller, automated 72-hour data logging with trend graph capability, password-protected programmable alarms and greater range of options; and an economical S Series with simple LED display for all standard cell culture applications.
