Expandable Heater Bands Simplify Barrel Band Replacement
Chagrin Falls, Ohio...IMS Company is pleased to announce they have recently added the HTFlex Band(TM) to their growing line of nozzle and barrel heater bands. The HTFlex Band(TM) is specially designed to replace all hard to remove one piece and all labor-intensive two piece barrel bands.
Unlike conventional, rigid one piece barrel bands, these heaters are specially engineered to expand and slide over the barrel diameter enabling bands to be installed and removed from any point on the barrel without having to remove other heaters, thermocouples etc. The one-piece design also eliminates the time consuming assembly and wiring of two-piece bands. An HTFlex Band(TM) can be replace in as little as 10 minutes. In addition, the HTFlex Band(TM) supports operating temperatures up to 1,400° F and watt densities to 90 W/in² thus ensuring peak performance in any application.
New HTFlex Band(TM) Heater Bands are available for 4" to 10" diameter barrels and in widths from 1¼" to 4" in ¼" increments.
