Repetitive Stress Injuries (RSI’s) are commonplace in today’s digital workplace. The keys to a successful Ergonomic desktop design are the proper proportionate distances of focal length, height adjustment and comfort in the battle to avoid these RSI’s.
As part of its ongoing engineering and design research in this field, AFC Industries maintains an open dialogue with all of our clients. It is in response to their feedback that we introduce the latest on our series of Ergonomic workstations. The Ergo-Tier SW.
The Ergo-Tier SW has the same product qualities that AFC’s workstations have been known for since 1994, --- height adjustability, mobility, solid steel construction and efficient design. All with a new feature of a height adjustable flat panel slat wall that will allow for multiple monitor configurations and can be positioned closer to the wall saving valuable floor space in reading room environments.
This workstation is electronically height adjustable from 28” to 47” from the floor. The aluminum slat wall also adjusts with the tabletop and provides an additional 19” of height at the push of a button. The monitors easily slide within the slat wall to create the proper field of viewing. Five, 4 inch caters (with two of them locking) provide mobility and stability; grommet holes for wiring; two built in power strips; a modesty panel for privacy and bumper edges that are softly rounded for safety. The table top is available in various luxurious colors with widths of 60” up to 84”.
