EpoKwick FC Epoxy System features strong physical adherence and zero shrinkage.

Press Release Summary:

Used in thermal spray applications, failure analysis, powder metallurgy, 3D manufacturing, coatings and heat exchangers. EpoKwick FC (Fast Curing) Epoxy System can be cured at room temperature. With its low viscosity, product maximizes the penetration of gaps, cracks and pores. Having good edge retention quality and elimination of gaps in material testing, product is available in black, blue and red colors.

Original Press Release:

New EpoKwick FC, a Fast Cure Epoxy for Aerospace, to Unveil at Aeromat 2017 in Charleston, South Carolina

Buehler, the leader in material preparation consumables will reveal EpoKwick FC (Fast Curing), a unique, clear, rapid epoxy system at the 2017 AeroMat Exposition. EpoKwick FC mounted samples will be shown at Buehler's booth #512 of the 28th Aerospace Materials Conference held April 10-12 in Charleston, South Carolina. EpoKwick FC is ideal for aerospace material preparation and analysis of thermal spray coatings on airframes, turbine blades, gears, fasteners, components and more.

With the evolution of EpoKwick FC, Buehler has created the lowest mix viscosity available in a room temperature cured epoxy. Lower viscosity improves sample quality by maximizing the penetration of gaps, cracks and pores. This makes it ideal for samples from processes such as thermal spray applications, failure analysis, powder metallurgy, 3D manufacturing, coatings, heat exchangers and more.

EpoKwick FC has a strong physical adherence and zero shrinkage with most samples. For material testing, EpoKwick FC provides an advantage in sample quality due to the excellent edge retention and the elimination of gaps.

EpoKwick FC is the ideal epoxy system for creating mounted samples when the sample cannot withstand the higher temperatures or the pressures of a press. Additionally, EpoKwick FC is the epoxy mounting choice when a fast curing time, low shrinkage and low viscosity is required by quality control laboratories testing products with metals, alloys, carbides, and ceramics.

Buehler's pigments are available for use with the EpoKwick FC epoxy systems to provide color contrast between the mount and the specimen during image analysis. The pigments are offered in three color options (Black, Red, Blue).
