Heavy Wall End Prep Tool Prevents Out-Of-Round Bevels on 24" Pipe
A new, portable, air-powered I.D. clamping end prep tool that features a centering cage which prevents out of round bevels on heavy wall pipe up to 24" O.D. is being introduced by ESCO Tool of Medfield, Massachusetts.
The MILLHOG® Dictator 24 Pipe I.D. Clamping Tool features a centering cage, mounting sleeve for the tool, and a dial indicator for establishing the actual center of a pipe up to 24" O.D. and preventing out-of-round bevels. Capable of compound bevels without adjustments, a preset template allows the ratchet cross-feed mechanism to engage a single point cutting blade.
Designed to run one or two blades in the cross-feed, the MILLHOG® Dictator 24 Pipe I.D. Clamping Tool uses cutter blades made from high speed tool steel and TiN coated, has dual opposed tapered roller bearings for rigidity, and delivers 4,000 ft.-lbs. of torque.
