NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI-The new TESA-CAL® IP67 Digital Electronic Caliper from Brown & Sharpe TESA provides easy-to-read, high accuracy measurements in the most extreme shop floor conditions.
IP67 compliance gives this precision measuring instrument the highest level of protection against contamination from water and coolant mist, dust and metal particles, and other airborne contaminants typically found in production environments.
The TESA-CAL IP67 Digital Electronic Caliper features the Swiss-made inductive Magna µ Measuring System®. Main components are encapsulated for protection against liquid and particulate penetration. This precision electronic caliper is liquid proof to 10 feet, making it durable enough to be cleaned with a high-pressure air hose.
The TESA-CAL IP67 Digital Electronic Caliper is designed to measure outside and inside diameters, depth, and steps. Its hardened and ground stainless steel frame makes it resistant to severe shop environments, even when used in highly abrasive applications. A specially designed reduced diameter round rod allows easy access to small workpiece features.
The TESA-CAL IP67 Digital Electronic Caliper includes an instant inch/metric conversion and a large, 1/4" LC display with automatic shutoff after two hours. Life of the single battery power source is approximately 1.5 years. It has a resolution of .0005"/0.01 mm and a measuring range of 0-6"/0-150 mm, and is available with or without a thumbwheel.
