Werner Introduces the Electrician's JobStation(TM), a Custom Designed Workstation for Electricians

GREENVILLE, Pa., May 31 -- Werner Ladder Company has taken the traditional ladder concept one step further by designing the Electrician's JobStation(TM). The first in a line of trade specific ladders, this JobStation(TM) is designed for commercial, residential and industrial electricians.

With a multitude of integrated features uniquely designed to simplify common tasks, the Electrician's JobStation(TM) makes any electrician's job faster, easier and safer.

Custom features include:
-- The Custom HolsterTop(TM) features customized slots that hold the most-used tools of the trade, with a scale in 1/8" increments and adjacent groove which holds up to 1" pipe for quick measuring and marking.
-- The Custom HolsterTop(TM) also includes the Werner ToolLasso(TM) Bungee System, which keeps tools securely mounted and always within easy reach - no more drills falling off the top! Three ToolLassos(TM) are included with each JobStation(TM).
-- The integrated conduit holder snaps out from under the step and clamps pipe in position for right or left handed sawing. Both hooks actuate as one for one-handed operation and the spring-loaded retraction makes for safe climbing and descent.
-- Metal safety shields located at the conduit holder guard the rails from incidental cutting.
-- The hacksaw hook is located on the same step as the conduit holder for easy access.
-- Two integrated wire spool holder brackets on front and rear fit up to 3/4" pipe to hold multiple spools and are parallel to the ground to keep spools from sliding. The system is designed for cross-ladder wire pulling for optimum ladder stability.

Underneath it all, it's still a Type IAA Werner Ladder - preferred by pros more than all other ladders combined. The top is secured with four rivets at the front rail and shoulder bolt and nut on the top hinges, with backup plates reinforcing all connections. A full set of rear horizontals and front and rear knee braces team with double riveted, slip-resistant steps for extra durability. Heavy-duty internal spreaders and Werner's EDGE(TM) bracing protect the ladder from shock damage from drops and during transportation.

The suggested retail pricing will be in the range of $99 to $269, based on the size of the ladder. See your local retailer or distributor for exact prices.

Chris Filardi, Vice President of Commercial Marketing, states, "This is a revolutionary concept that speaks directly to the electrician. We investigated what they do every day and created this JobStation(TM) to enhance their productivity and improve their safety. This is the first in a series dedicated to helping professionals do their jobs faster, more efficiently, and with less strain and fatigue that could lead to safety issues."

What do the users say? "Somebody finally figured out something for us!"; "Now I gotta go out and buy all new ladders after seeing THAT ladder."; "When it comes to your productivity, I'd rather pay extra money now, but in the long run it's going to save me that money ten-fold."
