Parker Adds EPDM Options for SCR Electrically Heated Hose

Ravenna, OH – Parker Hannifin, the mobile leader in control technology, has expanded the selection of Electrically Heated SCR Hose Assemblies.  Parker now offers 4mm and 5.5mm EPDM heated hoses for special order with IP6X, IPX8 and IPX9K certifications.  Parker has also made a number of custom solutions for DEF fill lines and other on-engine heated lines (example CCV) in special sizes.

SCR Hose is designed for heating and conveying DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) throughout the SCR system on commercial vehicles.  Parker electrically heated hoses have a thaw profile that performs better than traditional coolant heated hoses (time and consistency of thaw).  Unlike similar electrically heated hose, Parker SCR hoses encapsulate the heating elements with an extruded sheath for better protection and long-lasting uniform heating. The overmold on the fittings provides impact and water resistance, making the hoses suitable for multiple environments.

Parker SCR hoses have multiple options for fittings, electrical connectors, and overall lengths that allow customization by the end user.  For quick turnaround, the standard 6mm Nylon lines can be manufactured in a variety of lengths to meet your short timeline.  The hoses can be manufactured for 12V or 24V systems.  In addition, these hoses are manufactured in Ohio with third party certification for ISO 14001 and TS 16959.
