Keysight Technologies to Unveil Latest i3070 Series 5 Software at IPC APEX EXPO
Release version 09.00 Boosts Test Throughput, Improves User Experience
SANTA ROSA, Calif. -- Keysight Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: KEYS) today announced expanded capabilities with a milestone software release version 09.00p, for its i3070 Series 5 and Series 5i in-circuit test systems. New features enable faster throughput for board test and a new test plan editor to enhance program development experience. Keysight will unveil the new interface and user experience at IPC APEX EXPO, Booth 3815, San Diego Convention Center, Feb. 24-26.
Customers who are already taking advantage of the Throughput Multiplier in the i3070 software to reduce cycle time by testing up to four boards of a single-board-type simultaneously, will now be able to achieve more with the new release. The software feature is now optimized to reduce execution time for shorts and pin tests by 50 percent, without any impact to existing test programs or fixtures.
This release will also include Board Test Insight, a native test plan editor co-developed with key customers aimed to provide best-in-class interface and reduced test plan development time. Highlights include syntax coloring; automatic keyword suggestion; automatic indentation and alignment; breakpoint capability; watch variables; amongst other features only found in powerful integrated development environment (IDE) software applications.

Software version 09.00p is expected to be available by late spring 2015, and will be automatically shipped to customers who are subscribed to Keysight''s Software Update Services. All new i3070 systems will ship with this latest software release.
