Dynamic Pressure Sensor for Industrial Pressure Applications



Chatsworth, CA - March 9, 2009 - Dytran Instruments, Inc. has released a new high sensitivity dynamic pressure sensor. This sensor was designed for use in industrial pressure applications including those to measure industrial pressure pulsations, industrial acoustic studies and pipeline leak detection.

Model 2006V2 is acceleration compensated, which minimizes the effects of vibration on the output signal. The unit is hermetically sealed and has a simple IEPE wiring configuration.

Featuring a robust 2-pin Mil-C-5015 connector and a ¼-18 NPT standard pipe thread mount, the 2006V2 has a sensitivity of 50 mV/psi. The housing and diaphragm material is all stainless steel (316L SS) and is electrically isolated from power ground.
