Windsor, Connecticut - November 24, 2008....Scapa North America has introduced Scapa 448, a high tack duct tape for industrial maintenance and general purpose taping. This product is easily torn by hand and offers excellent bond strength to a wide variety of substrates including poly films.

Scapa 448 performs consistently over a wide range of temperatures without "edge ooze," and will not twist or curl during application. The product can be used for taping metal ductwork, hanging poly sheeting, general purpose bundling and sealing, and in a variety of industrial maintenance applications requiring increased tensile strength and adhesion.
