Dual Voltage Phase Monitor covers 200-240, 425-525 Vac ranges.

Press Release Summary:

Featuring dual adjustment ranges, Model 001-DVM-118 monitors for under voltage, phase reversal, and phase imbalance. Plug-in, 8-pin unit has one SPST output relay rated 10 A @ 240 Vac and one additional NO contact between pins 6 and 7. This additional contact carries same rating and closes as well when correct voltage is supplied. With correct voltage applied, internal relays will energize and LED illuminates, allowing normal operation.

Original Press Release:

MPE 8 Pin, Dual Voltage Phase Monitor

Apopka, FL -- Motor Protection Electronics, a leading manufacturer of industrial controls, is pleased to introduce the new Model 001-DVM-118 Dual Voltage Phase Monitor. The 8-pin, plug in style unit has dual adjustment ranges from 200 to 240 VAC or 425 to 525 VAC and monitors for under voltage, phase reversal, and phase imbalance. Options include over-voltage monitoring and user-specified reset delay time ranges.

With correct voltage applied, the Model 001-DVM-118 Phase Monitor's internal relays will energize and the LED will illuminate allowing normal operation. An abnormal condition will cause the LED to blink during the trip delay, and when the trip delay has expired the internal relay will be de-energized. The LED will then provide a series of pulses that indicate which fault condition is present. When conditions return to normal, the LED will blink during the reset delay, illuminate steady when the delay is expired, and the internal relays will be energized.

In the 200 to 240 VAC range, under- and over-voltage trip points are 15% of setting and the reset point is 12 % of setting. For the 425 to 525 VAC range, under- and over-voltage trip points are 10% of setting and reset is 8% of setting. Phase Imbalance has a trip delay of 5 seconds at an imbalance of 5%, and the delay approaches zero as the percentage of phase imbalance increases, with the reset being 4%.

This unit has one SPST output relay rated 10A at 240 VAC, and one additional normally open contact between pins 6 and 7. This additional contact is also rated 10A at 240 VAC, and closes as well when the correct voltage is supplied.
