Dual Heat Treating Furnace To Be AIntroduced At IMTS 2002
The Sentry Company, Foxboro, MA, manufacturers of furnaces for heat treating tool steels, will feature the Model AY Controlled Atmosphere Hardening Furnace combined with the Model HT Recirculating Air Tempering Furnace in a dual furnace design. The Model AY furnace is designed to be used with the unique Diamond Block system of atmosphere control. The Diamond Block is a carbonaceous box designed to automatically provide for a protective atmosphere for tool steel hardening. The Model HT tempering furnace offers a recirculating air system which provides efficient heat transfer and superior temperature uniformity. Furnaces are available separately or in dual furnace design offering space saving options.
