First introduced in 1965, the Model 105 Series Dry Solids Volumetric Feeders are designed with Acrison’s unique dissimilar speed, double concentric auger metering mechanism for virtually every conceivable process where accurate and dependable dry solids metering is a requirement.
Available in three different models with a feed range up to 220 cu. ft./hr., Model 105 Series Feeders feature all-steel, heavy-duty construction for minimal maintenance requirements and long life. The feeder’s “Double Concentric Auger Metering Mechanism” gently conditions material to a uniform consistency while simultaneously filling the metering auger from a full 360° -- unlike other volumetric dry solids feeders where a single auger typically located at the very bottom of a converging “V” shape trough allows “bridging” to occur even when the trough is vibrated or agitated. This unique metering mechanism not only assures positive flow and feed but also maintains total control of the product for unsurpassed levels of processing performance.
Available options include quick-disconnect, sanitary construction to satisfy USDA and FDA requirements, and high temperature and pressure construction.
