Drawdown Columns check flow rate of metering pumps.

Press Release Summary:

Calibration Columns measure drawdown rate on suction side while leaving discharge undisturbed in normal steady state operation condition. Products can also be used to determine if check valves are worn or dirty. Available in capacities from 100-4,000 ml, products are suited for use with pump capacities up to 120 gph. Constructed of PVC, units have slip-on top caps for filling and cleaning. Internal calibration scales are protected by Mylar lamination.

New Calibration Columns From Neptune Offer Easy, Accurate Check of Pump Flow Rate

Lansdale, PA, March 2003 - Neptune's new Calibration Columns, or "drawdown" columns, provide a fast, easy and economical means of checking the flow rate of a chemical metering pump. Neptune's Calibration Columns offer the most accurate test of metering pump flow rate by measuring the drawdown rate on the suction side, while leaving the discharge undisturbed in its normal steady state operation condition. The Calibration Column can also be used to determine if check valves are worn or dirty. System accuracy is ensured by verifying pump flow rate on a periodic basis or after maintenance. The Calibration Columns are available in capacities from 100 ml to 4,000 ml, for use with pump capacities up to 120 gph. They feature rugged PVC construction with slip-on top caps for top filling and easy cleaning. The internal calibration scales are protected from harsh chemical contact by Mylar lamination. Shielded glass models are available for acids and strong chemicals. For more information on Calibration Columns contact Neptune Chemical Pump Co., Inc., P.O. Box 247, Lansdale, PA 19446.
