Directional Horn Antenna covers 700 MHz to 18 GHz range.

Press Release Summary:

With PowerLOG® 70180, users can avoid errors during EMC measurements which result from frequent switching between different test antennas, as only one antenna is needed for entire frequency range of 700 MHz to 18 GHz. Gain increases with increasing frequency up to max of 17 dBi. Used for transmitting and receiving purposes, PowerLOG® 70180 features transmission power up to 500 W, making it suitable for both EMC and immunity test measurements.

Original Press Release:

Directional 500 Watt Transmitting Antenna, 700MHz - 18GHz

High precision antenna offering wide bandwidth, high gain and high power output

The new horn antenna of Aaronia AG, the PowerLOG 70180 is characterized by its enormous bandwidth which covers a large frequency range from 700MHz up to 18GHz.

Using the PowerLOG® you can avoid the common measurement errors occurring during EMC measurements which result from the frequent switching between different test antennas, as only one antenna is needed for the whole frequency range from 700MHz up to 18GHz. This saves significant costs as the measurement time can be reduced drastically.

The gain increases with increasing frequency up to max. 17dBi. This gain increase compensates the increasing cable losses at higher frequencies.

The PowerLOG® 70180 is suitable for both transmitting and receiving purposes. Thanks to its very high transmission power of up to 500W (pico), the PowerLOG is especially suitable for EMC and immunity test measurements.

The antenna is delivered including detailed, specific calibration data (CD or online).

The analysis software for PC “MCS“, by Aaronia AG supports the usage of the PowerLOG®. By reading the specific calibration data of the antenna with the software, you can make a precise field strength measurement in the complete frequency range.

Aaronia is an internationally operating company. Focus of the enterprise is development, trade and sale of measuring equipment, technologies and rights of low and high frequency measurement technique, robotics as well as screening/shielding of RF and E-fields and fundamental research at the segment of communications and measurement engineering, furthermore the construction of own circuitries and measuring methods in particular for the development of extreme sensitive and precise high-frequency measurement devices and autonomic robotics-systems.
