Legrand® Introduces New CFL/LED Dimmers
SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Legrand, a leading provider of electrical wiring devices and home systems, has announced the availability of its new Pass & Seymour® LS Series CFL/LED/Incandescent dimmers and Wide Slide CFL/LED/Incandescent dimmers.
The new LS Series dimmers add two additional options to the existing LS product line. The CFL/LED Dimmer is available in both preset and non-preset models as well as CFL/LED Single Pole and 3-Way configurations. The dimmers offer wattage ratings of 450W for CFL/LED and 700W for incandescent. The product expansion also includes the addition of an LS Series Fan Speed Control and CFL/LED dimmer available in a preset single pole and 3-Way configuration, with wattage ratings of 150W for CFL/LED and 300W for incandescent. This dimmer also offers 3-speed fan control and a de-hummer.
The new LS series reduces SKU counts for distributors and has the capacity to cover a wide range of load types. The combined CFL/LED Dimmer & Fan Speed controller is equipped to handle nearly all ceiling fan/light applications in one SKU. Contractors benefit from the new LS series as each circuit can now be outfitted to allow for more capacity, and fewer SKUs are now able to cover the bulk of load types.
The Wide Slide CFL/LED dimmer adds CFL/LED Single Pole and 3-Way, preset versions to the product offering. The new dimmer line features wattage ratings of 450W for CFL/LED lamps and 700W for incandescent loads. Dimmers are available in preset and non-preset versions as well as three interchangeable face colors.
Like the LS Series, the new Wide Slide products offer a reduced SKU count for distributors and are able cover a wide range of load types in one product; while contractors can offer more capacity per circuit and use fewer SKUs to cover the bulk of load types.
