Digital Valve Driver works with valves, motors and pumps.

Press Release Summary:

Programmable DVD-2 pulse width modulated (PWM) solenoid driver can control any brand proportional valve, motors, pumps or other device that responds to PWM signals. Software-based unit operates by processing low power analog input signal to produce corresponding high power, high efficiency PWM output signal. Source of analog signal could be control levers, potentiometers or PLC. Unit comes in NEMA 4 enclosure and has Deutsch connectors.

Device Offering Greater Mobile Equipment Control to Be Introduced at 2002 CONEXPO

(Hartford, WI) - Attendees at the 2002 CONEXPO Conference in Las Vegas, NV will have the opportunity to learn about the design options available with the new DVD-2 Programmable Digital Valve Driver from HED, Inc. This device along with an array of other new products will be display in Booth 15120.

The DVD-2 is a pulse width modulated (PWM) solenoid driver with modularized electronic printed circuit boards that serve as power amplifiers to drive any brand proportional valve, motors, and pumps or any device that responds to PWM signals. The source of the signal could be control levers, potentiometers, or PLC voltage source. Also, there is a regulated supply for potentiometer and lever inputs.

These software-based units operate by processing a low power analog input signal to produce a corresponding high power, high efficiency PWM output signal. Product designers can choose between four basic configurations, depending upon the inputs and outputs required.

Features include a NEMA-4 box for demanding field conditions, and Deutsch connectors. The unit is designed for compatibility with Windows based software.

HED is a leader in providing systems, components and engineering support for the application of electronic technology that integrates hydraulic, mechanical and electrical functions to enhance machine performance in mobile equipment applications.
