Megger Enhances DLRO Series to Improve Performance and Usability
Updates to DLRO10, DLRO10X and DLRO10HD
Norristown, Pa. – Megger, one of the world’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of test equipment and measuring instruments for electrical power applications, has enhanced several of its 10 A digital low resistance ohmmeters (DLRO®) including the DLRO10, DLRO10X and DLRO10HD. These DLROs are ideal for use in the utilities, telecom, railroad, aviation, manufacturing and process control industries.
The fully automatic DLRO10 and DLRO10X can now be powered from a mains/line power supply using Megger’s DLRO10PLU. This easy-to-use, optional power supply unit is designed to be fitted to either the DLRO or the DLRO10X in place of a standard battery pack. The DLRO10PLU is ideal for repetitive testing applications such as manufacturing production line use.
Megger’s DLRO10 and DLRO10X feature multiple operating modes including normal, auto, continuous and high power. The DLRO10X also features unidirectional mode. Both the DLRO10 and DLRO10X can measure resistance from 0.1 micro ohm to 2,000 ohm on one of seven ranges and are protected to 600 V. An auto current reversal cancels standing emf.
The rugged, easy to use DLRO10HD now displays readings in micro ohm and offers increased performance and usability. This digital low resistance ohmmeter provides 15% more battery life than before and is always ready to test. The unit’s new terminal cover keeps out dust, water and debris, providing a CATIII 300 V rating.
The DLRO10HD features user-selectable high or low power ranges. The high power range, measuring up to 250 micro ohm at 10 A or 2.5 ohm at 1 A, is ideal for charging inductive loads.
Megger’s DLRO10 series is in compliance with IEC 61010 and rated CATIII, 300 V when used with optional terminal insulating test leads.
