Rite-Hite Doors Introduces i-COMM(TM) and Establishes New Standard in Digital Communication Door Controllers.
MILWAUKEE-Rite-Hite Doors, a leading manufacturer of high performance industrial and cold storage doors, offers the i-COMM" Digital Communication Controller, the industry's most user-friendly, field-programmable door controller that now comes standard with most Rite-Hite door models.
The i-COMM" is the new benchmark in interactive industrial door operation with a diagnostic text readout stating real-time status, plus system errors and troubleshooting tips that help eliminate unnecessary service calls. Door function modifications are field-programmable by operators via a user-friendly, menu-driven list of options.
i-COMM" now comes standard with nearly all models including the Protecdor, Protecdor XL, Protecdor Clean, Trakline Roll, Trakline Fold, Iso-Tek, Barrier Glider, and Barrier Fold. Existing Rite-Hite Doors are able to be upgraded with the i-COMM".
Unlike other controllers, a variable speed drive is optional, yet not required for door functionality, therefore increasing its reliability and decreasing acquisition and potential service costs.
Software upgrades for the i-COMM" will be available (when necessary) via a disposable plug-in module that can be loaded simply by the end-user or an authorized Rite-Hite representative.
i-COMM" is UL listed and National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) 4x-rated.
