Demo Board detects integration-specific faults, wiring errors.

Press Release Summary:

With hardware module that contains various Boundary Scan structures as well as non-Boundary Scan components, Integra V1 is intended for demonstrating integration solutions with such test methods as functional test, in-circuit test, manufacturing defects analyzer, and flying probe test. Production faults can be simulated by switch, signal states can be monitored, and additional test points allow testing of non-scannable partitions. Concurrently, module can also qualify integration.

Original Press Release:

Demo Board for Integration Systems

Integra V1 is the new solution for detection of integration specific faults. GOEPEL electronics presents a special Boundary Scan demo module for demonstration of integration solutions with test methods such as functional test, in-circuit test, manufacturing defects analyzer and flying probe test. By interaction with the test methods, an improvement of test coverage is demonstrated vividly.

The hardware module contains various Boundary Scan structures as well as non-Boundary Scan components. Production faults can be simulated by switch and signal states can be monitored. Additional test points allow testing of non-scannable partitions. At the same time, the module Integra V1 can comprehensively qualify the integration. It is worth notable the possibility to find and diagnose wiring errors. Furthermore, the demo board includes various production-capable contacting options such as test points, ribbon cable, GTAP, etc.

The Integra V1 can be used as a simple learning module to train test strategies and integration principles. It also serves as reference board for precompiled test procedures. The Integra V1 thus is supported by the software platform SYSTEM CASCON.
