New 5 Watt TVN 5WI Series of Extremely Low Ripple and Noise DC-DC Converters

Wrentham, MA — Power Sources Unlimited, Inc. Power Sources Unlimited, Inc. announces the addition of the new 5 Watt TVN 5WI Series of extremely low ripple and noise DC-DC converters in a six-sided shielded metal DIP-24 package to our TRACO Power portfolio.

The highly efficient TVN 5WI Series offers two ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage ranges of 9–36VDC and 18–75VDC with both single (3.3, 5, 12, 15 and 24VDC) or dual (±5, ±12, ±15 and 24VDC) output voltages. Standard features include remote on/off, adjustable output voltage, over-voltage protection, under-voltage shut down and short-circuit protection along with an operating temperature range of –40°C to +85°C (without power derating). The conducted noise of the TVN 5WI complies with EN 55022 class B and makes these converters the ideal solution for audio, measurement and detection circuits. UL/cUL 60950-1, IEC/EN 60950-1 safety standards.

Units start in the low $30's in OEM quantities. Prototypes are available now to ship from stock. All TRACO Power products are RoHS compliant and backed by a 3 year warranty.
