Cylindrical CNC Grinder Sports New, Full Enclosure


(Dayton, OH - May 2003) The new "EJ30" cylindrical grinding machine from Erwin Junker Machinery, Inc. now features full guarding for safety, factory environment and aesthetics. With a grinding envelope of 32" x 12" the EJ30 is ideal for automotive transmission shafts and other similarly sized cylindrical parts.

The enclosure has been expanded to cover the machining area completely and has been redesigned with rounded accents to eliminate sharp angles and corners. Functional features have been updated also. "The EJ30 is probably our simplest grinder to setup yet," claims Nelson Beaulieu, Vice President of Erwin Junker Machinery, Inc. "It has helpful software capabilities such as simultaneous axis interpolation, the ability to program in macros, an interactive interface, and automatic taper correction."
