Testing and certification are performed to meet both safety and regulatory requirements for many medical businesses, research labs, chemical processing facilities and more. LTI’s technicians test and certify equipment to current version standards, document results on-site and apply the required sticker with compliant information.
Equipment Tested:
Lab Testing’s field technicians are expertly equipped to certify Chemical Fume Hoods, Ductless Fume Hoods, Laminar Flow Hoods, Modules, Filtered Fan Units, Filter Caissons, Biological Safety Cabinets, Barrier Isolators, Glove Boxes and Clean Rooms using calibrated test equipment with NIST-traceability.
Tests Performed:
The full range of tests can be performed for each piece of equipment and includes velocity profile, HEPA leak test, airflow patterns, and secondary tests such as light and sound levels, electrical safety and vibration tests. The appropriate testing can maintain equipment cleanliness and verify containment in BioSafety Cabinets. ISO 14644 classification of cleanliness or supply airflow is part of the certification and warranty work is performed to OEM specifications.
