RF Connectors Releases New FCC Part 15 Compliant Reverse Thread Connectors
RF Connectors has increased its line of connectors and adapters designed to meet FCC Part 15 regulations by incorporating reverse, or left-handed, threads. Standard coaxial connectors will not mate with these special connectors, making the connector FCC Part 15 compliant. Because only the threads are modified, performance of these coaxial connectors is unchanged.
New TNC males with reverse threads include the RT-1202-C, a crimp connector for RG-58/U cable and RT-1227, a reverse thread TNC male to reverse thread TNC female right-angle adapter. Reverse thread SMA females include the RT-1142, an adapter with
reverse threaded SMA female on one end and standard BNC female on the other. The nickel plated RT-1005-C is a reverse thread N male crimp connector for RG-58/U and the gold plated RT-300-1C1 is an SMA male crimp connector for RG-142/U cable. All connectors and adapters feature nickel or gold plated bodies and gold plated pins and contacts.
Many other reverse thread connectors are available in the RT series with BNC, N, SMA and TNC interfaces. For reverse polarity, or reverse gender requirements, the RP series
of connectors and adapters is available with BNC, N, TNC and SMA interfaces.
