BRECOflex CO., L.L.C., the world leader in the polyurethane timing belt industry is proud to introduce the new timing belt connection technology to be utilized with T10 and AT10 pitch timing belts (DC-Version).
The mechanical connection system is designed for easy and rapid timing belt assembly on the machinery. This design allows for easy access to shafts and pulleys without disassembling machinery parts. The lock can also be easily disconnected.
The finger spliced ends of the timing belt are prepared to be clamped together with the connecting kit hardware. The hardware consists of carbon fiber reinforced polyamide connecting plates and tooth inserts including the screws (two per plate).
The allowable tensile strength depends on the width of the belt as follows:
