Color Sensors provide one and four color detection.

Press Release Summary:

With sensing range of 2-60 mm, models LC 2001 and LC 2004 detect one and four recorded colors respectively. Both units incorporate Self-Teach function for quick adjustments. Applications include sorting of colored parts; detection of marks, colored tags, and lid color; and verifying presence of labels, wires, and colored liquids. They can also be used in verification of rocker switch color, orientation of parts, and correct assembly of color-coded plugs.

Color Sensor Provides 4 Color Detection

Press Release Date: 3/7/03

EMX Industries Inc, is proud to present its new 1 and 4 Color Sensors, the LC 2001 and the LC2004. The LC 2001 detects one recorded color, and the LC 2004 detects four recorded colors. These sensors have a sensing range of 2mm to 60mm. Both units have a "Self-Teach" function that features easy and quick adjustment. There are a multitude of applications which include: detection of marks and colored tags, quality control in the form of the detection of lid color and the presence of labels, detection of colored wires, detection of colored liquids, sorting of colored parts, etc... For example, these applications are used in, but not limited to, industries that need : verification of rocker switch color, verification of orientation of parts, correct assembly of color codes plugs, liquid color verification in a transparent tube (using a reflector), ribbon cable color coded conductor verification, etc... These are just a sample of various applications that EMX has encountered thus far.
